What do you do as an events and production intern?

You work independently within a team on different projects. The following tasks will be part of your daily work:

• Organizing (pre)productions
• Planning people and resources
• Communicating to the different departments within POPEI
• Collaborate and consult with other interns
• Executive production work
• Developing new partnerships

Depending on your own development and commitment, you can be given more and more responsibilities in the performance of these tasks and you can even take on multiple production-related activities.

Who are we?

We are POPEI; a healthy cultural organization that allows people to discover and develop their talents with music and a socially engaged heart. Our core activity is talent development. Talent development for all children, young people and adults with whom we work musically, but also for our employees, trainees, volunteers and participants in reintegration processes.

With our concert hall, our café, our terrace, the 18 rehearsal rooms and a recording studio, our accommodation is a real music workshop. Every year we organize approximately 200 activities aimed at talent development. In addition, our rehearsal rooms offer space for an MBO music education, a pop music school and many different bands. In order to support our cultural activities, we have built up a solid catering facility that, on the one hand, offers the necessary space and opportunity as a cultural breeding ground and meeting place, and on the other hand, as a professional eatery, supports the exploitation of POPEI.
